We want to address the main concern, but also lead you into a lifestyle of being pain-free. We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.

 


Meet the Doctors


 

Dr. Darren Roemhildt, D.C.

Dr. Roemhildt has been in practice for over 26 years. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. He completed his Acupuncture Certification in 2006 from the American Acupuncture Society in Kansas City, MO. In 2012 Dr. Roemhildt completed his Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) with the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been married to Kathleen for the past 30 years and they have 4 children: Drew, Justine, Derek, and Lane, grandson Leighton, granddaughter Elsie, and their dog Jetta. Besides his passion for health care, diet, and nutrition Dr. Roemhildt is very active in his profession and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the Minnesota Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been the President of the SE District of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association for the past 8 years. Locally Dr. Roemhildt is very involved in the community with active memberships in the Kiwanis Club, the Early Edition Rotary Club, Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, Elks Club, Steele Co. Ducks Unlimited Board, and active church member. In his spare time Dr. Roemhildt enjoys music, collectibles, and antiques and he is also an avid outdoorsman.

 


Dr. Justine Hartle, D.C.

Dr. Justine (Roemhildt) Hartle graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She is certified in Acupuncture and Webster Technique. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA).

Dr. Hartle is very passionate about chiropractic care in pregnancy and children, including infants. She has over 300+ hours of chiropractic care at a pediatric and pregnancy clinic in Rochester. She has personally treated all ages from just days after birth to 90+. She is Webster Certified to help pregnant mothers have a safer and easier birth and she is currently pursuing her CACCP (pediatric certification) with the ICPA.

Dr. Hartle believes that care should be unique to each individual. She utilizes different techniques and incorporates her skills and training in taping and gua sha (muscle relaxation therapy) when needed. She believes it is important to advocate for your own health and wants to help by advocating for you as well. Dr. Hartle decided to become a chiropractor after a battle with severe food sensitivities and because of that, she is also very knowledgeable in nutrition.

Dr. Hartle grew up in Owatonna and was active as a huskies cheerleader and gymnastics coach. She married Christopher in August of 2021. She met Christopher in high school and they both enjoy camping, biking, game nights, and playing with their dog, Ary during their free time.

 


Dr. Alex Anderson, D.C.

Dr. Alex Anderson graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2022. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning from Central College in Pella, Iowa where he was a captain of the men’s tennis team and a strength intern. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Alex has worked with athletes from every level of college and high school athletics. He is currently finishing up another certification program with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He has a passion for movement and helping to incorporate it into his treatment plans. He takes many principles from strength and conditioning and shapes them to help patients from all walks of life and skill levels. He believes that each patient’s care should be specific to their needs, abilities, and goals.

Dr. Alex utilizes many different techniques involved in the Palmer Package of adjusting. He also has training in active rehabilitation, multiple manual therapies for muscles, as well as passive modalities such as ultrasound and electrical muscle stimulation.

Outside of work, Dr. Alex is an avid pickleball player and enjoys playing high-level tournaments and meeting people from all over the country. He is a fanatical Iowa Hawkeyes fan and loves college football season. He lives here in Owatonna with his cat Chloe. (Yes, you can ask to see pictures!)

 


Meet the Staff


 

Kathleen

Kathleen has been our Office Manager for the past 19 years. She handles all insurance, accounting, and administrative details. She graduated from Minneapolis Business College in 1990 and has many years of experience in the legal and insurance field. Kathleen is married to Dr. Roemhildt and they have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 grandson. Outside the office Kathleen enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her grandson grow, playing cards, reading books, and enjoying the great outdoors.

 


Katie, CMT

Katie completed her massage certification at Riverland Community College in 2021. Her training has taught her to thoroughly listen to her patients and devise a treatment plan specific to their needs. She enjoys working on deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and focusing on specific body aches and pains. She also enjoys helping patients with pain relief from injuries, diseases, and stresses; as well as maintaining good physical and mental health.

Katie believes in the power of natural wellness and human touch for an overall healthier, happier lifestyle and is eager to learn more about natural wellness while working at Bridges Chiropractic!

 


Shanna, CMT

Shanna has a passion for health and wellness. Following her dreams to help provide wellness, Shanna graduated from Fox Valley School of Massage in 2016. She enjoys what she does and is excited to help clients with safe and effective touch. She received her yoga teacher training in Portland OR in 2013. Shanna enjoys the outdoors, movement, and animals. She also volunteers with Apex Angels and Warriors, a wolf-dog sanctuary. Shanna specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic, craniosacral, and relaxation massage.

 


Tammy, CA

Tammy joined the bridges team in November 2022. She has 20+ years of experience working in customer service. She believes in holistic methods for wellness care and has always been passionate about helping others. Tammy loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a nature lover which includes tending to her flower gardens, long walks, visiting state parks, and taking pictures of all things nature especially sunrises and sunsets. She also enjoys family trips to the cabin and spending time there fishing and exploring.

 


 

Ang, CA

Andrea “Ang” graduated in 1996 as a Chiropractic Technician and has been involved in healthcare for over eleven years. She has a desire to learn, support and help others grow in their health journey using a holistic approach. In her free time, she enjoys music, gardening, going to flee markets and spending time with family and friends.

 


 

Briana, CA

Briana, also known as Bri, has been working for Bridges as a Chiropractic Assistant since March 2022. Bri enjoys helping people feel better and more relaxed. She is personable and likes to serve and take care of others, which is why she loves her job. She strongly believes in chiropractic care and the holistic approach. When she is not at work, Bri stays busy keeping up with her daughters, Sophia and Emreigh & two British Shorthair cats. She enjoys traveling, reading, watching documentaries, laughing, listening to music, and being around loved ones.

 


 

Katlyn

Katlyn has been a Chiropractic Assistant at Bridges Chiropractic since June 2023. She is very personable and enjoys getting to know patients. Katlyn performs spinal scans, multiple therapies, and rooms patients.

Katlyn is currently enrolled in the Cosmetology Program at Riverland Community College in Austin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, racing go-karts, and reading.
