We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.



Meet the Doctors


Dr. Darren Roemhildt, D.C.

Dr. Roemhildt has been in practice for 30 years. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. He completed his Acupuncture Certification in 2006 from the American Acupuncture Society in Kansas City, MO. In 2012 Dr. Roemhildt completed his Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) with the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been married to Kathleen for the past 34 years and they have 4 children: Drew, Justine, Derek, and Lane, and their dog Jetta. They also have 5 grandchildren, Leighton, Elsie, Autumn, Posy, and Hazel. Besides his passion for health care, diet, and nutrition Dr. Roemhildt is very active in his profession and currently is the 2nd VP of the MN Chiropractic Association (MCA) after formally holding positions of president and district director of the SE MCA district for many years. Locally Dr. Roemhildt is very involved in the community with active memberships in the Kiwanis Club, the Early Edition Rotary Club, Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, Elks Club, Steele Co. Ducks Unlimited Board, and active church board member and contemporary worship team leader, singing, and playing the guitar. In his spare time, Dr. Roemhildt enjoys music, collectibles, and antiques and he is also an avid outdoorsman.


Dr. Justine (Roemhildt) Hartle, D.C.

Dr. Justine (Roemhildt) Hartle graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She is certified in Acupuncture and Webster Technique. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA), and Christian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Hartle is certified in chiropractic pediatrics with her CACCP and Webster Certified to help pregnant mothers have safer and easier births. She believes that health starts before conception and is knowledgeable about the importance of health in fertility. She has 200+ hours of continuing education in pediatrics, pregnancy, and women’s health.

Dr. Hartle believes that care should be unique to each individual. She believes it is important to advocate for your health and wants to help by advocating for you as well. Dr. Hartle decided to become a chiropractor after a battle with severe food sensitivities and because of that, she is also very knowledgeable in nutrition. She utilizes her skills in chiropractic, acupuncture, and nutrition to help create overall health in her patients which improves hormonal balance and fertility.

Dr. Hartle grew up in Owatonna and was active as a Huskies cheerleader and gymnastics coach. She married Christopher in August of 2021. She met Christopher in high school and they both enjoy camping and game nights. They spend a lot of time playing with their daughters, Autumn and Hazel.


Dr. Damien Autio

Dr. Damien Autio graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences in 2024, following his undergraduate studies in Biology at the College of Saint Scholastica. With a deep passion for health and quality of life, he brings a holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care, focusing on geriatric treatment to achieve functional movement, rehabilitation, and treatment goals.

Certified in Graston Technique, Dr. Autio integrates a diversified set of therapies to help each patient recover from injuries, improve mobility, and overall function, and reach their personal health goals as soon as possible.

Originally from the small town of Floodwood, Minnesota, Dr. Autio was active in multiple sports in high school, such as football, basketball, and boxing. He also has nearly a decade of experience working in adult foster care as well as six years in the Minnesota National Guard in a mechanized infantry unit.

Outside the Clinic, Dr. Autio enjoys Hiking, four-wheeling, spending time with friends and family, as well as his Olde English Bulldog named Baloo.


Meet the Staff


Kathleen

Kathleen has been our Office Manager for the past 19 years. She handles all insurance, accounting, and administrative details. She graduated from Minneapolis Business College in 1990 and has many years of experience in the legal and insurance field. Kathleen is married to Dr. Roemhildt and they have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 5 grandchildren. Outside the office Kathleen enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her grandchildren grow, playing cards, reading books, and enjoying the great outdoors.


Katie, CMT

Katie completed her massage certification at Riverland Community College in 2021. Her training has taught her to thoroughly listen to her patients and devise a treatment plan specific to their needs. She enjoys working on deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and focusing on specific body aches and pains. She also enjoys helping patients with pain relief from injuries, diseases, and stresses; as well as maintaining good physical and mental health.

Katie believes in the power of natural wellness and human touch for an overall healthier, happier lifestyle and is eager to learn more about natural wellness while working at Bridges Chiropractic!


Dan, CMT

Dan is a 2008 Graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University – Massage Therapy program. Dan believes touch is a very powerful tool in helping the body heal itself naturally. He is specialized in Trigger Point Therapy and Relaxation massage techniques. Listening to his clients and learning what they need helps Dan design each client’s massage to make each experience unique.

When Dan is not working, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and their daughter. He also enjoys spending time outside running, golfing, and hanging out with friends. Dan plays piano, works on crafts, reads, and likes to watch sports. The MN Vikings are his favorite team. SKOL!!


Ang, CA

Andrea “Ang” graduated in 1996 as a Chiropractic Technician and has been involved in healthcare for over eleven years. She has a desire to learn, support and help others grow in their health journey using a holistic approach. In her free time, she enjoys music, gardening, going to flee markets and spending time with family and friends.


Tammy, CA

Tammy joined the bridges team in November 2022. She has 20+ years of experience working in customer service. She believes in holistic methods for wellness care and has always been passionate about helping others. Tammy loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a nature lover which includes tending to her flower gardens, long walks, visiting state parks, and taking pictures of all things nature especially sunrises and sunsets. She also enjoys family trips to the cabin and spending time there fishing and exploring.


Sue, CA

Sue has been in the customer service field for 30+ years. One of her favorite things in the customer service role is listening to people talk about their families and milestones that are going on in their lives.

When Sue is not working, she enjoys Sunday family dinners, baking, camping with family and friends, and traveling with her husband and their three dogs to dog shows and field trials.


Summer, CA

Summer has been in the customer service/health and nutrition field for 9 years. She loves learning about natural ways to promote health and wellness, as well as helping others with nutrition and fitness goals.

In her free time, Summer enjoys family time, kayaking, working out and attending concerts.


Katlyn, CA

Katlyn has been a Chiropractic Assistant at Bridges Chiropractic since June 2023. She is very personable and enjoys getting to know patients. She graduated in December 2024 with her Cosmetology License and is working at Studio 14 in Faribault as well. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, racing and being at the racetrack, and reading.


Vanessa, CA

Vanessa is currently a college student at South Dakota State University and will be working at Bridges Chiropractic during college breaks. She prioritizes being a joyful presence in the workplace, and values serving others to the best of her ability. In her free time, she enjoys baking sourdough, participating in Dairy Cattle Judging, and playing the bass guitar.
