We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Darren Roemhildt
Dr. Roemhildt has been in practice for over 24 years. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. He completed his Acupuncture Certification in 2006 from the American Acupuncture Society in Kansas City, MO. In 2012 Dr. Roemhildt completed his Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) with the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been married to Kathleen for the past 29 years and they have 4 children; Drew, Justine, Derek, and Lane, 1 grandson Leighton, and their dog Zoey. Besides his passion for health care, diet, and nutrition Dr. Roemhildt is very active in his profession and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the Minnesota Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been the President of the SE District of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association for the past 7 years. Locally Dr. Roemhildt is very involved in the community with active memberships in the Kiwanis Club, the Early Edition Rotary Club, Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, Elks Club, Steele Co. Ducks Unlimited Board, and active member at Northridge Church in Owatonna. In his spare time Dr. Roemhildt enjoys music, collectables, and antiques and he is also an avid outdoorsman.
Dr. Robert Hansen
Dr. Robert Hansen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016 and has practiced in a variety of settings and locations including Bozeman, MT. He is passionate about helping patients overcome their individual health obstacles and he believes everyone is entitled to be fully educated on their health. He also believes each patient should be given different options for a variety of treatments that aligns with their individualistic health goals.
Dr. Hansen utilizes a variety of adjusting and treatment techniques to fit each individual patient. He often incorporates muscle and tissue release around areas of concern as well as rehab to target specific areas of the body that the patient will learn in the office and then be able to incorporate at home. Dr. Hansen wants you to be the best version of yourself; through education and empowerment, you can have total control over the way you feel.
Dr. Hansen grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a B.S. in Health Sciences. He enjoys spending time with his wife as well as hunting and fishing throughout the year. Dr. Hansen has never turned down a slice of pizza; however, he does spend time each week maintaining his health and fitness with strength training, running, and occasionally, yoga.
Dr. Hansen is extremely thankful to have an opportunity to practice at Bridges Chiropractic alongside an experienced and successful chiropractor, Dr. Darren Roemhildt. Meet the Staff
Kathleen has been our Office Manager for the past 17 years. She handles all insurance, accounting, and administrative details. In 1990 she graduated from Minneapolis Business College and has many years of experience in the legal and insurance field. Kathleen is married to Dr. Roemhildt and they have 4 children and 1 grandchild. Outside the office Kathleen loves to spend time with her children, read a good book, and be outdoors in the sunshine.
Lexi Pike, CMT
Lexi is the newest addition to our team. She has been a Massage Therapist for 5 years and completed her certification at the Aveda Institution in Minneapolis in 2015. Lexi enjoys working with prenatal clients, deep tissue and specific areas of aches and pains, as well as relaxation sessions to help balance the body and keep you feeling your absolute best. Lexi believes in the power of natural wellness and human touch for a healthier life. When she is not working as a wellness provider, she enjoys spending time with her children and loves taking them outside to learn and explore as much as possible.
Jennifer Gehring, CMT
Jennifer is an Owatonna native and has been our Massage Therapist for over 12 years. She completed her massage certification at Sister Rosalind Gefre’s School of Massage in 2004. Jennifer especially enjoys working with clients that have specific needs whether it is injured muscles due to an auto accident, work-related muscle fatigue, or stubborn headaches. Jennifer loves learning about natural healing, enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, and playing with her two children.
Andrea has been a Chiropractic Assistant with Bridge Street Chiropractic since December 2013. She graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis with a degree in social work. Her passion is to help others pursue a healthy lifestyle focusing on natural medicine. While not at work, Andrea enjoys spending time appreciating the great Minnesota weather outside with her husband, Kyle and daughter, Addison.
Nicole joined our team as a Chiropractic Assistant in December, 2015. Nicole has 8 years of previous experience in patient care and therapy programs working with long-term care patients. Nicole grew up on a farm in Meriden and has a mini-dachshund, Daisy. She enjoys gardening, canning, and watching the sunset.
Justine started as a Chiropractic Assistant in November 2015. She is a graduate of Owatonna High School 2016 and works part time on breaks from college. Justine loves helping others and learning more about health. She is attending Northwestern Health Sciences to pursue her doctorate and hopes to achieve her D.C. like her father (Dr. Roemhildt). In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading, walking with her dog (Ary), campfires, puzzles and games.
