We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Darren Roemhildt
Dr. Roemhildt has been in practice for over 24 years. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. He completed his Acupuncture Certification in 2006 from the American Acupuncture Society in Kansas City, MO. In 2012 Dr. Roemhildt completed his Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) with the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been married to Kathleen for the past 29 years and they have 4 children; Drew, Justine, Derek, and Lane, 1 grandson Leighton, and their dog Zoey. Besides his passion for health care, diet, and nutrition Dr. Roemhildt is very active in his profession and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the Minnesota Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roemhildt has been the President of the SE District of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association for the past 7 years. Locally Dr. Roemhildt is very involved in the community with active memberships in the Kiwanis Club, the Early Edition Rotary Club, Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, Elks Club, Steele Co. Ducks Unlimited Board, and active member at Northridge Church in Owatonna. In his spare time Dr. Roemhildt enjoys music, collectibles, and antiques and he is also an avid outdoorsman.
Dr. Robert Hansen
Dr. Robert Hansen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016 and has practiced in a variety of settings and locations including Bozeman, MT. He is passionate about helping patients overcome their individual health obstacles and he believes everyone is entitled to be fully educated on their health. He also believes each patient should be given different options for a variety of treatments that aligns with their individualistic health goals.
Dr. Hansen utilizes a variety of adjusting and treatment techniques to fit each individual patient. He often incorporates muscle and tissue release around areas of concern as well as rehab to target specific areas of the body that the patient will learn in the office and then be able to incorporate at home. Dr. Hansen wants you to be the best version of yourself; through education and empowerment, you can have total control over the way you feel.
Dr. Hansen grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a B.S. in Health Sciences. He enjoys spending time with his wife as well as hunting and fishing throughout the year. Dr. Hansen has never turned down a slice of pizza; however, he does spend time each week maintaining his health and fitness with strength training, running, and occasionally, yoga.
Dr. Hansen is extremely thankful to have an opportunity to practice at Bridges Chiropractic alongside an experienced and successful chiropractor, Dr. Darren Roemhildt. Meet the Staff
Kathleen has been our Office Manager for the past 19 years. She handles all insurance, accounting, and administrative details. She graduated from Minneapolis Business College in 1990 and has many years of experience in the legal and insurance field. Kathleen is married to Dr. Roemhildt and they have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 grandson. Outside the office Kathleen enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her grandson grow, playing cards, reading books, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Lexi Pike, CMT
Lexi is the newest addition to our team. She has been a Massage Therapist for 5 years and completed her certification at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2015. Lexi enjoys working with prenatal clients, deep tissue and specific areas of aches and pains, as well as relaxation sessions to help balance the body and keep you feeling your absolute best. Lexi believes in the power of natural wellness and human touch for a healthier life. When she is not working as a wellness provider, she enjoys spending time with her children and loves taking them outside to learn and explore as much as possible.
Andrea has been a Chiropractic Assistant with Bridges Chiropractic since December 2013. She graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis with a degree in social work. She enjoys meeting new patients, developing relationships with existing patients and helping all of them pursue a healthier lifestyle, focusing on natural medicine. While not at work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, daughter, Addison and soon to be baby boy in September 2020.
Nicole has been a Chiropractic Assistant at Bridges Chiropractic Health Clinic since December 2015. She has 15 years of patient care experience and is certified with the American Chiropractic Registry of Radiologic Technologists. She has lived in the Owatonna area her whole life. And, when she’s not working, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Justine started as a Chiropractic Assistant in November 2015. She is a graduate of Owatonna High School 2016 and works part time on breaks from college. Justine loves helping others and learning more about health. She is attending Northwestern Health Sciences to pursue her doctorate and hopes to achieve her D.C. like her father (Dr. Roemhildt). In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading, walking with her dog (Ary), campfires, puzzles and games.
Amy feels blessed to work at Bridges Chiropractic, serving the community in any way she can. She loves to help patients with scheduling, answering questions, discussing treatment, and supporting the rest of the team. Amy and her husband, Donald, moved to Owatonna in 2005. They have two children, Brooklyn and Conrad, and 3 dogs that are a big part of their family. Amy enjoys being outdoors, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things include coffee and chocolate.
Courtney is an Owatonna native and graduate. She has worked in Customer Service in Owatonna and surrounding areas for 20 years and loves working with the community and residents. She has 3 children, the 2 oldest have graduates of OHS as well, they all enjoy being outdoors and spending time up north together.
